Delete Your HomeStroke Account and Data

Use the in-app deletion flow or send a public web-based request. You do not need to reinstall HomeStroke to ask for deletion.

Effective and last updated: July 17, 2026

This public page is available without signing in and identifies HomeStroke and its developer, Stroke Technology, Inc.

01

Delete from the Mobile App

  1. Sign in to HomeStroke.
  2. Open Profile.
  3. Open Privacy & Security.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Review the warning and confirm Delete permanently.

The in-app flow removes the authenticated account, HomeStroke records owned by that account, scan images stored for that user, and HomeStroke data stored locally on the device.

02

Request deletion without the Mobile App

Email privacy@homestroke.comwith the subject HomeStroke account deletion request and include:

  • the email address used for the HomeStroke account;
  • your name, if it was entered in HomeStroke; and
  • a clear statement that you want the HomeStroke account and associated data deleted.

Do not email health details, room photos, passwords, or identity documents unless the privacy team specifically requests information through an appropriate verification process.

03

Verification and timing

We may send a verification message to the account email or request other reasonable proof that the requester controls the account. A verified request is normally completed within 30 days. We will explain if law permits or requires additional time.

04

Data deleted

Deletion removes the Supabase authentication account and HomeStroke data owned by the user, including profile information, Home Plans, health-related intake, recommendations, tasks, room-scan results and stored scan images, learning and progress records, care-team invitations and memberships, clinician reviews, contractor profiles and work orders, emergency contacts, incidents, routes, room checklists, and related account records.

05

Shared and third-party data

If the user participated in a Home Plan owned by another person, the user's membership and personal account data are removed; records belonging to the other account holder may remain. Information already sent to an independent contractor, clinician, app store, or other third party may be subject to that party's legal obligations and privacy practices.

06

Limited retention

Encrypted backups, security logs, or a minimal record of the deletion request may remain for a limited period when needed for backup rotation, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Retained data is not used for marketing and is deleted or de-identified when the applicable need ends. Read the Privacy Policy for more information.
